Benjamin Meyer, DO

Benjamin Meyer, DO is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine, dedicated to helping patients return to the activities they enjoy. He specializes in the treatment of sports injuries and conditions affecting the shoulder, knee, hip, and other musculoskeletal structures, providing comprehensive care through evidence-based nonsurgical treatments, advanced arthroscopic procedures, robotic-assisted Mako® joint replacement, and personalizedsurgical solutions. Whether caring for competitive athletes or active individuals, Dr. Meyer is committed to restoring function, relieving pain, and helping every patient achieve their unique goals.

Dr. Meyer earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from A.T. Still University, followed by an orthopaedic surgery residency at MountainView Regional Medical Center. He then completed advanced fellowship training in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at the Taos Orthopaedic Institute, where he refined his expertise in sports injury management, arthroscopic surgery, joint preservation, and the care of complex shoulder, knee, and hip conditions. His passion for advancing orthopaedic care has also led him to serve in leadership roles focused on program development and clinical innovation.

In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Meyer is dedicated to educating the next generation of physicians through the clinical training of medical students and orthopaedic residents. He also serves as a member of the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team Medical Pool, providing medical coverage for elite athletes during national and international competition. By combining advanced training, academic involvement, and a patient-centered approach, Dr. Meyer delivers comprehensive orthopaedic care that helps patients return to work, sports, and the active Colorado lifestyle they enjoy.
